Dr. Bob Bushong - Senior Pastor
Bob Bushong has served as the Senior Pastor/Minister of Preaching at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park since June 2000. In this position, Bob preaches at the three services on most Sunday mornings, provides spiritual leadership for the staff and the congregation, serves as the primary vision caster for the ministry of the church, and is involved in many different ways in the life of the church through worship leadership, teaching, visitation, pastoral care, ministry planning and various administrative duties.
Bob grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. He graduated from Stetson University in 1974 with a degree in English and Sociology, and then received a masters in social work degree from Florida State University in 1976. After working as a counselor with troubled children, teenagers, and their families, Bob felt a call to ordained ministry. He enrolled at Duke University Divinity School from which he received a master of divinity degree in 1981, and has been serving churches in the Florida Annual Conference since that time. In 1996 Bob received a doctor of ministry degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.
Bob is married to Jeanne Bushong, an elementary school teacher with the Orange County School System. They have two young adult children and one grandchild. Prior to moving to Winter Park the Bushong family lived in Hunter's Creek, where Bob was the founding pastor of Peace United Methodist Church, serving there from 1991 - 2000.

Betsy McKeeby - Parish Nurse
Betsy has served as parish nurse at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park since November 2003. Her RN background has primarily included work in coronary care and cardiac rehabilitation with an emphasis on helping people achieve a healthy lifestyle after they have learned of a heart diagnosis.
Growing up as a Methodist preacher’s kid in East Tennessee, she graduated with a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has additional coursework in adult education, clinical pastoral education and parish nursing and is certified in cardiac and vascular nursing by the ANCC.
Betsy and her husband Jim have a grown son in the area and twin boys in college. They reside in Lake Mary.
