Lavon Williams - President

Lavon was born and raised  in Volusia County Florida. He graduated from Deland Senior High School, Deland Fl., in 1982. Lavon is a veteran of the United States Army and received an honorable discharge in 1988. He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Fl. Lavon graduated with a B.S. Degree in Professional Aeronautics in 1992. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1993 and serves as Chairman of the Health Ministry at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville Fl. Lavon has worked in emergency medicine for the past 15 years. He is also a CPR Instructor, Professional Firefighter and a Paramedic. Lavon has a true passion for serving GOD'S people through the Ministry of Health.  Lavon can be reached at lwill64@gmail.com.

Joann Ruiz - Vice President

Joann is the parish nurse at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church since 2005.  Joann has a master’s degree in public health and is a Certified Case Manager.  She has a background in developing and teaching patient health education programs.  She is on the advisory board for Parish Nursing for the Catholic Diocese of Orlando.  Joann can be reached at joann@stmargaretmary.org.

Betsy McKeeby - Director

Betsy has served as parish nurse at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park since November 2003. Her RN background has primarily included work in coronary care and cardiac rehabilitation with an emphasis on helping people achieve a healthy lifestyle after they have learned of a heart diagnosis.  Growing up as a Methodist preacher’s kid in East Tennessee, she graduated with a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has additional coursework in adult education, clinical pastoral education and parish nursing and is certified in cardiac and vascular nursing by the ANCC.  Betsy can be reached at betsym@fumcwp.org.

Rebecca Monfalcone - Director

Rebecca has been a Parish Nurse at Winter Park Presbyterian Church since March 2004. She grew up in W. Va., received a B.S.N. from Medical College of Va. (now Virginia Commonwealth University), and completed Parish Nurse training at the Florida Hospital Parish Nurse Institute in 2003. Nursing experience over 40 + years includes pediatrics, maternity, women’s medicine, home health, physician offices, and hospital settings. Parish Nursing has been very fulfilling and a good combination of utilizing professional skills and the sense of God’s calling. Rebecca and her husband, Wes, are parents of three grown children and have three granddaughters. Dr. Lawrence Cuthill - Director

Dr. Cuthill was born in Florence, Alabama. He has lived most of his life in the Southeast with the exception of a brief stint in California. After finishing high school in Orlando, Florida, he enrolled at the University of Florida where he majored in Psychology. Following graduation from the University of Florida in 1969, he immediately enrolled in Columbia Theological Seminary having heard the call of the Lord to the ministry during his senior year in college.  During his three years at Columbia Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, he became involved in inner-city ministry in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon graduating with his master of Divinity in 1972, he accepted the call of the Georgia Avenue Presbyterian Church in inner-city Atlanta and served that church for six and a half years. Since then he has served churches in Daytona Beach, Florida; Bremen, Georgia; West Point, Georgia; Gulf Breeze, Florida.  In 1980, he retuned to Columbia Theological Seminary where he received the Doctor of Ministry Degree in 1984. For the past 15 years, he has been the senior Pastor of Winter Park Presbyterian Church, Winter Park, Florida. He can be reached at larryc@winppc.org.

Cathy Laschober - Secretary

Cathy is a recent former owner of a Winter Park home-health care business.  She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration from Illinois State University and holds an Illinois Real Estate License.  She is a member of the Health Ministry Team at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, she serves as a eucharistic minister to the home-bound and at Winter Park Hospital and is a volunteer for Vitas Hospice Care.  Cathy, originally from Chicago, has lived in Florida since 2005.  Cathy can be reached at laschoberc@earthlink.net.
